The Soil is our Soul collection encapsulates the foundation of LOUIS XIII Cognac: the chalky soil of Grande Champagne, Premier Cru of Cognac, where the most expressive and age-worthy eaux-de-vie are born. Artisans delicately hand-brushed each porcelain plate to remove the outer glaze, leaving the inner circle gleaming while exposing the textured surface, echoing the terroir’s natural grain. Three hoops etched into the back pay homage to the chestnut wood hoops of LOUIS XIII's tierçons, silent sentinels of time. This collection is a feat of porcelain artistry, involving 40 porcelain artisans and requiring three weeks of devoted creation.
