CAN YOU TELL US A STORY, A FAMOUS ANECDOTE ABOUT THIS PLACE THAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

Located on the top floor of Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, VIEW BAR offers a panoramic view of Kobe at night. With an authentic interior, open-air terrace, and more casual standing booths, one finds a variety of atmospheres. Customers can enjoy a refined bar experience against the background of a stunning night cityscape.

HOW DID YOU BECOME SO PASSIONATE ABOUT WINE & SPIRITS?

In my years as a bartender, I have been continually impressed by the aromas and flavors of the various brands of wine and spirits, which led me to be passionate about them.

HOW AND WHEN DID YOU FIRST DISCOVER LOUIS XIII?

I found it in the back bar of a certain bar in Kobe city. I felt I will taste LOUIS XIII someday and decided to be a bartender who can treat it.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY ABOUT LOUIS XIII TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER TASTED IT?

I would tell them about its deep shades, as well as its aromas and flavors that continually change as time passes. I would say that it is the best of cognacs that one can slowly enjoy. I would note that its aromas and flavors change with the seasons, and that it seems to be breathing, just as people do.
