The Quest will scour the globe in pursuit of the rarest LOUIS XIII decanter on earth, starting in February 2015 in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and India; the search will soon after spread to other parts of the world.
It is going to be a thrilling and emotional journey to encounter the LOUIS XIII legend. It will unite devotees of legacy, craftmanship, beauty, history, adventure and legend.

Can you tell us a story, famous anecdote about this place that makes it unique?
Ritz Carlton Hotel, is the luxury 5 star hotel overlooking Kremlin and Red Square. Hotel Bars and Restaurants have one of the best wine cards in Russia including Louis XIII, Louis XIII Rare Cask, unique collection of Petrus wines and largest collection on Macallan Whisky in Russia.
If this place was a song, what would it be?
I may say Mozart music in contemporary arrangement...
How did you become so passionate about wines & spirits?
I have started my carrier almost 20 years ago in F&B business and discovered that work of sommelier gives you a chance to learn, to investigate many interesting things about spirits&wines on the daily basis. This knowledge I can share with my clients and friends. So I found this work very creative.
How and when did you first discover LOUIS XIII ?
I have discovered LXIII almost 15 years ago when it was just appeared in Moscow and was presented in the first 5* hotel where I was working at that time.
What would you say about LOUIS XIII to someone who has never tasted it ?
I would say that taste of LXIII remain the same as it was 15 years ago when I first tried it and when I have tasted it last year during LXIII tasting at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. One word - Excellent !
What is your biggest dream in life ?
It is a challenging question. I have lots of dreams. I think I would like to continue to get pleasure and fun from creative work I'm doing now.

Anton Galkin is a Chief Sommelier of The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Moscow where he is working from opening for almost 5 years. Anton has started his carrier in restaurant business as a waiter almost 20 years ago. After graduation from Moscow sommelier academy “Gallery of Wines” he worked as sommelier in Marriot Hotels for 10 years. Anton likes to travel and spend time with his family which is quite big - 5 kids, 3 boys and 2 girls. The oldest son is thinking to be sommelier in the future as his farther.
